Press Release / December 16, 2021
The duo are the first Trox executives to be recognized by this prestigious list
PHOENIX, Ariz. – Dec. 16, 2021 – Senior Vice President of Sales Terra Norine and Director of Enterprise Infrastructure Austin Madsen of Trox, a leading provider of education technology in the United States and Canada, were recently named to the highly distinguished CRN’s Next-Gen Solution Provider Leaders list. CRN’s second annual Next-Gen Solution Provider Leaders list recognizes the passion and commitment these individuals have shown in driving growth and innovation for the IT channel companies they represented over the past year.
CRN is a top technology news and information source and magazine for solution providers, IT channel partners and value-added resellers. Chosen by the CRN editorial team, this list honors rising-star executives, managers and directors, 40 years of age or younger, who have demonstrated noteworthy leadership qualities in the IT channel space.
Steadfastly working to integrate three organizations with three different cultures into a single sales team, Terra joined Trox in 2016 and achieved President's Club status by multiplying her account growth by 300 percent a year later. Some of Terra’s other standout accomplishments at Trox include managing the implementation of the company’s new CRM and sales portal, developing a sales training program, creating the Client Engagement team and receiving both the California Legislature Senate and Assembly Certificate of Recognition Awards.
“We are thrilled to see Terra recognized for the transformational impact she has made on our organization, industry and learning outcomes of children across North America,” Brian Schreiber, Trox CRO, said. "Terra is a true thought leader for our industry, and people believe in her vision. She keeps people as her top priority, which has led to her incredible success and rise within our company.”
After experiencing a merger in April 2021, Austin spearheaded the efforts to align company-wide resources, including incorporating the regional teams together administratively, developing a new service platform to better support employees, as well as connecting pieces of the new company communication and collaboration systems together. Austin constantly monitors better methods to support staff and ensure industry best practices, thoroughly researching and evaluating AI-based security management tools for possible implementation across the company.
“Austin has done an outstanding job of meshing the Enterprise IT Infrastructure Team together,” Randy Hill, Trox CTO, said. “He is a creative problem solver and never short on ideas to solve complex issues. Austin is an incredible asset to the company, operating with a servant-leader style which allows him to foster trust and teamwork rapidly.”
